Philippines: the impact of the typhoon Haiyan in cooperative members

It has been more than a week since the devastating typhoon Haiyan hit Philippines. The National Confederation of Cooperatives in Philippines (NATCCO) is reporting that to date, at least 350,000 cooperative members are affected.

On Saturday, November 23, the Philippine Cooperative Center, the apex of cooperatives in the Philippines will meet to discuss how we can work together to help rehabilitate the cooperatives and their members. There are many houses to build/rebuild and livelihood which are affected as crops and livestock were damaged.
