The global E-magazine on cooperatives in industry and services
The participants of the Social Cooperatives International School (SCIS2016) to be held in the Hotel Plaza Naples (Italy) from 20 to 23 October 2016 are asked to submit a project idea on the partnership between social cooperatives and conventional enterprises to Santo Versace, President of Altagamma Foundation, the Italian luxury brand committee composed of companies in the fields of design, fashion, food, jewelry, automobiles, and hospitality.
The training modules foreseen by the School programme, specifically addressed to cooperatives’ managers, will focus on local development, partnership between social cooperatives and conventional enterprises and financial instruments for the development of social cooperatives. Additionally, a seminar will debate on the new challenge of migrations: policies, inclusion, and international development cooperation.
During the roundtable session on partnerships between social cooperatives and conventional enterprises, four people will be selected to present and discuss their innovative project on this issue with Santo Versace. The ideas should address one of the following two areas:
The School expects to host 40 people, 20 of whom will be Italian and 20 from other countries. The working language will be English. More information including the inscription form and the draft program here
