CICOPA held its Annual General Assembly online on 30 June 2026, bringing together members from across the world to discuss the direction of the organisation and its priorities for the coming year.
The Assembly provided an opportunity to present CICOPA’s work plan, exchange updates from member organisations, and engage in enriching discussions on the key challenges and opportunities currently shaping worker and social cooperatives.
Welcoming New Members
During the General Assembly, CICOPA was pleased to welcome three new organisations to its membership:
- Genç İşi Kooperatif (Youth Deal Cooperative), Turkey as associated member
- Kalandia Camp Women’s Handicraft Cooperative (KCWHC), Palestine as associated member
- Office of Development and Cooperation (ODCO), Marocco as associated member
CICOPA looks forward to working closely with these new members to further promote and develop worker and social cooperatives around the world. Their addition also strengthens CICOPA’s presence in countries where it is already active and reinforces our commitment to building a stronger global cooperative movement.

New Board Appointment
The General Assembly also ratified Monica Fantini, President of CECOP, in her position as Vice-President of the CICOPA Board.
CICOPA congratulates Monica on her appointment and looks forward to continuing to benefit from her leadership and commitment to the cooperative movement.
